Paul Bandibanga, 52, of North Liberty, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 6:55 p.m., at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, after he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Paul was born March 1, 1963, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), son of Jean Badibanga and Nseya Lukoj. He was their second child of nine children (3 sons and 6 daughters.)
He earned his high school diploma on July 11, 1983, and his Bachelors degree in both Art and Music from the National Art Institute in Kinshasa in September, 1988. Paul left the DRC in 1992 for a West African country called BENIN, where he spent more than 20 years. While serving the Lord in different ministries like, "Action Faith Ministry" and Winner Chapel as a worship leader.
In death, he leaves behind his wife Dora Kabengele and his daughter Ana who is twelve.
Paul was serving the Lord again with his musical gifts at King of Glory International Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Binua.
Paul will be truly missed. He was a man of determination who provided for his daughter, and worked very hard to maintain his household. He leaves behind many memories.
