Nohemi Guerrero, 36, of Coralville, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. Memorial mass will be held noon Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Liberty with inurnment following at the West Liberty Cemetery.

Nohemi's family includes her husband, Julio; daughter, Julissa; son, Lorenzo Perez; mother, Alma Ramirez of Iowa City; father, Noel Avalos (wife, Juana Bustamante) of West Liberty; sisters, Perla Avalos (boyfriend, Claudio Ramirez) of Coralville, Rina Garcia of West Liberty and Estrella and Paloma Avalos of West Liberty; brother, Daniel Avalos of West Liberty; nieces, Yesenia Morales of Coralville, Anabel Avalos of Coralville, Kamryn Avalos of West Liberty and Ginette Garcia of West Liberty; nephews, Marco and Gabriel Avalos of Coralville, Austin Avalos of West Liberty and Alexis and Pablo Garcia of West Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arturo Frausto.
