I had the pleasure of working with Lauren at the State Hygienic Laboratory. Lauren was an outstanding chemist, great friend and man. We will miss him.

I knew Lauren for many years at the Hygienic Laboratory. A very personable man. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I first met Lauren in 1987, when he hired me for a position at the lab. He retired 4 years later, and we have enjoyed meeting for lunch every other month since that time. He was a kind man who enjoyed reading, people and traveling. My daughter said that he always gave her the best books as gifts (Monarch Butterfly and the Thirsty Moose being her two favorites)! He will be missed.
